Our Vision
"To be part of God’s transforming work in our community"
We seek to be transformed through being fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ, living the Jesus life.
A transformed Tunbridge Wells will come closer to happening when we with other churches live out Jesus’ greatest commandments and commission, which are:
Jesus' commandments (Matthew 22:37-39)
"Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’"
Jesus' commission (Matthew 28:19-20)
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Vehicles
Vehicles are the structures, events and activities that help us grow towards fulfilling our vision. These are:
Celebration: worshipping the Lord together as one family.

Communities: these are groups of people (bigger than a small group, but smaller than Sunday church – around 15-50 people) who come together around a common purpose and to share in fun, friendship and faith.
Huddle: these are regular groups for the ongoing discipleship and accountability of community leaders.

Small Groups: these home groups are where mutual friendships, fun, Bible studies and care happen. Everyone is invited to belong to a group so that they feel they belong within the church. Some groups stand alone and some are part of our larger communities.
These are supported by the church's ministries, staff team and financial resources.
